The Seven Network has expanded its operations by opening up a UK based production company.
Seven has joined forces with Maverick Television, one of the UK's leading independent television production companies, to form 7Wonder.
Seven ceo Tim Worner said 7Wonder will initially focus on the creation of new TV programs and format for the UK.
He said 7Wonder will build on the success of some its original creation such as Home and Away, My Kitchen Rules, Border Security and House Rules.
"7Wonder underlines a key part of our strategy for today and in the future: the expansion of our presence in the production of content," Worner said in a statement.
