Seven secures 49ers broadcast rights

The Seven Network has secured the rights to broadcast 14 of the 49ers 16 regular season games on their brother channel 7Mate.

The Seven Network has boarded the Hayne Plane, signing a deal which will see them broadcast 14 of the San Francisco Gers' 16 regular season games live on 7Mate.

ESPN will broadcast the remaining two 49ers games in weeks one and seven, with 7Mate also airing three other NFL Sunday games per week as part of a five-year deal signed in 2014.

The price tag for the broadcast rights has yet to be disclosed.
