Severe fire danger predicted for SA

The CFS has put in place a total fire ban in two South Australian regions and says residents must be alert to conditions as they brace for a hot windy day.

Windy conditions along with with dry thunderstorms have fire crews on alert as total fire bans have been declared for many South Australian towns.

Residents in the Northwest Pastoral and West Coast regions are warned that very hazardous fire conditions are predicted on Monday.

The Country Fire Service recommends that bushfire survival plans are put in place.
