A One Nation senator has suggested sexual harassment laws might go too far if abuse is verbal.
Malcolm Roberts said there were questions marks over whether wolf whistling constituted harassment.
"Some girls think that's wonderful, they smile. Others are offended," he told ABC radio.
Asked if sexual harassment laws go too far, Senator Roberts said: "When it comes to verbal... yeah."
Physical contact and violence were different from verbal comments, he said.

The senator acknowledged he hasn't actually read sexual harassment legislation and would have to see the Act before suggesting reforms.
