An Energex worker is being treated for serious burns after suffering an electric shock at a Brisbane substation.
The person, who hasn't been named, is being treated at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital for serious electrical burns.
The worker was one of three injured at the substation in the southeast suburb of Camp Hill about 1.30pm (AEST) on Wednesday.
The other workers have since been released from hospital.
A police spokesman said the trio were burned on the head and hands.
Officials from Workplace Health and Safety and the Electrical Safety Office are investigating.
"While investigations are under way, it is inappropriate to speculate on the cause of the event," a statement from Energex said.
Power was cut to 2000 properties on Wednesday afternoon but has since been restored.
