Shots fired at house in Port Kembla

Police have found a bullet hole in a window at a house in Port Kembla after reports shots were fired.

Shots have been fired into a house at Port Kembla in NSW's Illawarra region.

Police were called to a property on Wednesday night where they found a bullet hole in a window and a projectile inside the house.

They were told shots were fired at the residence between 8am and 7pm (AEDT) on Tuesday.

Police said no one was in the home during the incident and no one was injured.

A crime scene has been established and police are urging anyone with information to contact them or call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
