Siege gunman's body to be released

The body of Sydney siege gunman Man Haron Monis is set to be released now the coroner has completed its autopsy.

The NSW coroner has completed the autopsy of Sydney siege gunman Man Haron Monis.

A burial order will be made on Monday and his body released to his next of kin, a Department of Justice spokeswoman said.

A "destitute funeral" will be arranged should no one claim the body.
