British actress Sienna Miller is stepping back in time to star in a period comedy based on Jane Austen's novel Lady Susan.
The Alfie star has been cast as the leading lady in Love And Friendship, about a scheming widow who embarks on a search for suitable husbands for herself and her daughter.
Chloe Sevigny will co-star in the film, which will be directed by Whit Stillman.
Production on the project is due to begin in the Irish countryside this year.
