Guitars bearing the signatures of the Eagles, KISS and Rock and Roll legend Chubby Checker are among $30,000 worth of signed instruments stolen from a Brisbane shed.

The 14 guitars vanished from a shed in Manly West some time between August 21 and Wednesday.

The owner has told police they were signed by Australian and international stars including Jimmy Barnes, Ted Nugent, The Screaming Jets, The Choirboys and Richard Clapton.

Detectives are keen to speak with anyone who may have seen suspicious activity around the Berrimilla St area over the past week.

Anyone with information is being urged to contact authorities.
