Silver Ferns forced to swap venues

New Zealand will meet England behind closed doors in the final Test of their Great Britain tour following damage to a London stadium venue.

The netball Test between the Silver Ferns and England has been moved to a spectator-free venue following damage to the Copper Box Arena in London.

The floor of the stadium at Olympic Park suffered damage at a weekend event, forcing England Netball to shift the game on Tuesday (AEDT).

A Test scheduled for the following day between England and Jamaica has also been relocated.

"The operator of the venue Greenwich Leisure Ltd (GLL) has judged that there has been significant damage inflicted to the floor which is now not of the sufficient quality to facilitate and host an international netball event," an England Netball statement said.

Only a handful of spectators will be present at the game although it will still be broadcast.

It is New Zealand's last match on a short tour of Great Britain.

They beat Scotland 72-18 in Glasgow before defeating Jamaica 52-46 in London on Friday.

England, who beat Jamaica 46-38 on Saturday, provide the Silver Ferns' with their final Test before the Commonwealth Games starting in Glasgow in July.
