Four months after winning the Italian version of The Voice, Sister Cristina Scuccia is due to release her debut album.
The 26-year-old Catholic has already published a cover of Madonna’s Like a Virgin ahead of the album’s November 11 launch date.
Featuring her dressed in the traditional habit and crucifix, the clip has already attracted more than 190,000 views in 24 hours.
It’s a far cry from the more than 60 million views tallied for her audition performance of Alicia Keys's 'No One' in March, a performance which gained her entry to the show and eventually a record contract with Universal.
Sister Scuccia has already sung alongside Kylie Minogue and has also received an endorsement from actress Whoopi Goldberg.
