Police have charged six revellers with drug offences at a music festival attended by more than 2500 people in Sydney's southwest.

Police using drug dogs charged the six festival-goers at the Secret Garden music event in Camden on Friday.

Police conducted 75 searches at the event, which continues on Saturday.

Officers made 11 drug detections for MDMA, cocaine and cannabis and issued five cannabis cautions.

Camden Local Area Commander, Detective Superintendent Ward Hanson, warned revellers police would again be out in force on Saturday.

"The police operation will continue at the festival today, with a specific focus on drug offences," Det Supt Hanson said.

"Music festival patrons are reminded that there is no such thing as a safe party drug, they are manufactured by criminals who have no idea of what they are making."
