Six people have been charged over the death of Sydney man Brendan Vollmost.

Four men, who police say are part of a group that call themselves the Blood Brothers, have been charged with the murder of the 23-year-old.

Police allege Mr Vollmost was bashed and abducted at his South Windsor home, northwest of Sydney, on March 31.

His body has never been found, with police investigators believing it's possible his body was inside a car which was taken to a scrap metal dealer.

All six people had court appearance on Thursday and were refused bail.
