Six to face court in $10.6m Vic drug haul

Six people are set to face court on Saturday following police drug raids in Melbourne's western suburbs.

Six people will face court following a number of police raids in Melbourne's western suburbs.

The drug raids conducted on Friday morning in Braybrook, Sunshine West and Preston resulted in a number of arrests

Police seized drugs with an estimated street value of $10.6 million, including 2800 cannabis plants and 25 kilograms of dried material with a street value of about $8 million, in excess of half a kilo of heroin with a street value of $773,000, in excess of 2 kilograms of ICE with a street value of $1.8 million and cocaine with a street value of $22,400.

The six people were charged in relation to drug trafficking and remanded to an expected appearance at the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Saturday.

Another man has been bailed to appear in court at another date.
