Shaun Kenny-Dowall hasn't been named in the Sydney Roosters' side to play in round 20 of the NRL, ahead of his court appearance on Thursday over domestic violence allegations.
Kenny-Dowall sat out the win over the Warriors last Sunday in what the Roosters said was a "welfare decision" made in conjunction with the NRL, after the 27-year-old was charged on Saturday with a number of domestic violence-related offences.
The allegations against the Kiwi international will be heard on Thursday in Waverley Local Court, where he is expected to plead not guilty to all 10 charges.
Brendan Elliot, who took Kenny-Dowall's place in the Roosters' line-up for the win over the Warriors, has been named on the right wing for the Tricolours for Friday's clash with the Wests Tigers at ANZ Stadium.
Dane Gagai has been named for Newcastle's match against South Sydney on Saturday at ANZ Stadium, but will continue to undergo cardiology tests to determine his fitness after being taken to hospital with an irregular heartbeat last weekend.

"I'm not quite sure (who will play in the halves) and I'm sure the other boys will tell you the same thing. Des doesn't tell us until the last minute," Dogs forward Shaun Lane said on Tuesday.
"I don't find it too stressful. All the boys are good when they do step in, they are confident and they know their roles and what they need to do.
"They might enjoy it more if they did get to play the full 80 each but they are quality players and it is a headache for Des but it is a good headache to have."
