A still from YouTube footage reportedly showing a skydiver having a seizure during a 12,000ft dive.

Shocking video footage has emerged showing the moment a skydiver suffered a seizure while plummeting towards the ground.

The man, said to be Australian, reportedly lost consciousness during a skydiving event in November.

Posting online under the name Nomadic Adrenaline, the man described it as "possibly the scariest moment of my life".

"At around 9000ft I have a seizure while attempting a left-hand turn," he said.

“I then spend the next 30 seconds in free fall unconscious.”

The footage posted on YouTube shows the man tumbling through the air, plummeting below the "jumpmaster" filming the dive.

He said his fellow skydiver managed to reach the man around 4000ft, pulling his ripcord.

"I become conscious at 3000 ft and land safely back to the ground," he said.
