A man caused panic when he attempted to feed his pet snake on a flight from Tel Aviv to London.

Adam Gubbay purchased the two foot long baby corn snake in Tel Aviv, and took the tiny reptile on board with his hand luggage. He brought the snake out mid-flight to feed it.

“As we were air borne I thought perhaps, you know, Milky would be thirsty,” explained Gubbay.

Although Gubbay warned the passenger to his left that he shouldn’t be alarmed, the appearance of the snake proved too much for some of the other passengers.

“The female passenger to his left got up and started screaming,” Gubbay said casually.

Gubbay was met by police and UK border agency officials at Luton airport. He received a warning, but was allowed to leave, reptile in hand.
