Kosovo votes in a snap general election this weekend after its parliament was dissolved last month.

It came after the parliament failed to reach agreement on the country having its own army.

 

It will be the first time since Kosovo's declaration of independence in 2008 that all ethnic groups in the country will be voting.

Central Europe correspondent Kerry Skyring spoke to Zara Zaher about the major parties and issues in the election.
