AUSTRALIA v SOUTH AFRICA, DAY 1
* SCORE: Australia 243, South Africa 1-39
* MAN OF THE MOMENT: Kagiso Rabada. Busted the game open with five wickets in 18 deliveries, including the key scalp of Steve Smith.
* KEY MOMENT: Rabada traps Smith lbw with a cracking delivery then celebrates with an aggressive send-off. Rabada is likely to face sanction, having screamed in Smith's face and brushed his shoulder, but it was undoubtedly the most important breakthrough of the day.
* STAT OF THE DAY: Australia haven't posted such a low first-innings Test total after winning the toss and batting since the 2015 Ashes.
* SUMMARY: There's a lot of cricket to be played but Rabada's rampage has put his side in the box seat to level the four-Test series at 1-1. South Africa trail by 204 runs.
* QUOTE OF THE DAY: "We are probably allowed to celebrate sometimes ... I don't even recall there being a send-off." - Proteas paceman VERNON PHILANDER leapt to the defence of Rabada.
