Snapshot for day 3 of the fourth Test

A snapshot of day three of the Test cricket series decider between Australia and India in Dharamsala.

AUSTRALIA V INDIA, 4TH TEST AT A GLANCE

STATE OF PLAY - India 0-19 at stumps on day three, requiring a further 87 runs to win the match and series

MAN OF THE DAY - Ravindra Jadeja. Scored 63 to help the hosts claim a first-innings lead of 32 runs then snared three wickets as Australia crumbled in their second innings.

KEY STAT - Steve Smith's side will set a record for the lowest Test target defended in Asia if they win. The current mark came when Australia failed to haul in 107 on a Mumbai raging turner in 2004.

KEY MOMENT - Smith was on 17 and looked to be in good touch when he attempted to a pull a delivery from Bhuvneshwar Kumar outside off stump. The resultant edge flattened the stumps and almost certainly the visitors' hope of a rare series win in India.

BEST QUOTE - "You can hear a pin drop in the dressing room," Australia's batting coach GRAEME HICK admits things look grim after his charges were found wanting on moving day of the series decider.
