Snapshot for day one of the second Test

A snapshot of day one of the second Test between Australia and Bangladesh in Chittagong.

AUSTRALIA V BANGLADESH, 2ND TEST AT A GLANCE

STATE OF PLAY -- Bangladesh 6-253 at stumps on day one after winning the toss and electing to bat.

MAN OF THE DAY -- Nathan Lyon. Led the bowling attack in difficult conditions and claimed a five-wicket haul for the third consecutive Test. Showed Australia's spinners how it's done on the subcontinent.

KEY STAT -- With Pat Cummins the sole quick, Lyon became the first Australian spinner since 1938 to open the bowling in the first innings of a Test match.

KEY MOMENT -- With Bangladesh holding all the momentum at 5-222, Shabbir Rahman (66) fell victim to a brilliant Matthew Wade stumping off the bowling of Lyon. A pivotal wicket for Australia and a big moment for Wade, who had come close to being axed.

BEST QUOTE -- "I think I might have spun one ball out of 28 overs today. There's not much spin there at the moment." - Nathan Lyon on the flat and lifeless Chittagong pitch.
