* TALKING POINT: Canberra forward Hudson Young has been handed the biggest suspension of the year, with the 20-year-old facing up to a seven-week ban for eye-gouging Bulldog Aiden Tolman

* MAN OF THE ROUND: Raiders back-rower John Bateman returned from a fractured eye socket to lead Canberra to a 12-10 win over the Bulldogs and break a three-game losing streak
