Sock faces Berdych in Stockholm Open final

American Jack Sock has reached his second ATP tour final of the season by beating Richard Gasquet 6-4 6-2 at the Stockholm Open.

American Jack Sock reached his second ATP tour final of the season Saturday by beating second-seeded Richard Gasquet of France 6-4 6-2 at the Stockholm Open.

He will play defending champion Tomas Berdych in Sunday's final, after the top-seeded Czech player advanced when Marcos Baghdatis of Cyprus retired with a right groin injury after losing the first set 6-1 in the other semi-final.

Berdych is looking for his third title in Stockholm and second of the year after winning in Shenzhen last month.

Sock broke Gasquet four times and hit 11 aces to wrap up the win in 1 hour and 22 minutes.

Sock said: "I was able to stay on him and dictate a lot of the points. I was able to get a rhythm at the end and close it out comfortably."
