Sorbent maker on track to lift profit

Sorbent toilet paper maker Asaleo Care says it is on track to lift its full year net profit, with growth in the low-to-mid single digit range.

The company behind Sorbent toilet paper and Libra tampons is on track to increase its profit this year.

Asaleo Care's chief executive Peter Diplaris says the company expects low-to-mid single digit net profit growth this financial year.

"We believe the marketplace will continue to be challenging and our outlook is based upon management's confidence in the company's plans to deal with these challenges," he told shareholders at Asaleo Care's annual meeting on Wednesday.
