Space job ads put agency in Canberra

Despite state governments furiously bidding to become the home of Australia's space industry, job ads put it in Canberra.

States and territories may be competing to host Australia's new space agency, but job ads have put it squarely in Canberra.

Ads for executive and senior public servant roles in the Australian Space Agency posted on the industry department's website state the location as "Canberra".

The agency is due to start on July 1, but it's expected to take about six months to determine a permanent home for it.
