Police have found the body of a murdered Gold Coast spiritual adviser at a storage facility in Brisbane.
Police said on Tuesday they had found the victim's body at a storage facility in Brisbane.
The body of Hugo Bonham - a self-described "divine transformational facilitator" - was found as a man prepared to front a Brisbane court charged with his murder on Tuesday.
Detectives made the discovery at a storage facility on Coonan Street at Indooroopilly on Monday night.
"The body has been recovered and transported to the John Tonge Centre where further examination and formal identification will occur," police said.
Scientific and other officers spent hours examining the storage facility overnight.
Police said last week they feared Mr Bonham had been killed, despite the lack of a body.
He was last seen on the night of February 2 when he visited his son at Southport on the Gold Coast.
He spoke by phone to a bank the next day while in the process of buying another property on the Gold Coast.
When he failed to turn up to an appointment with a real estate agent, the agent contacted his Gold Coast-based sister, who reported him missing on February 6.
A Brisbane man, 35, was charged with murder on Monday.
He will face the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
