NRL - Canterbury's Frank Pritchard is free to play the Sydney Roosters on Friday night after beating a dangerous conduct charge at the judiciary on Tuesday.

NFL - Jarryd Hayne's coach said he had no qualms with the former NRL star after his NFL debut on Tuesday, with the Aussie fumbling his first punt return before recovering for a number of solid runs.

AFL - Fremantle's Nat Fyfe won his second straight AFL Players Association Most Valuable Player award on Tuesday night. He becomes just the sixth player to claim the prize multiple times.

NRL - North Queensland's Johnathan Thurston has won his third consecutive RLPA Players' Player Award, the Test and Queensland Origin playmaker beating Greg Inglis, Ben Hunt, James Tedesco and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck to claim the title.

TENNIS - Great Britain's Kyle Edmund gave the Davis Cup hosts an injury scare on Tuesday when he went for a tumble. The Brits say they'll know more on Wednesday about their second-ranked singles player, who is due to front-up against Australia on Friday.
