AFL - Having already dealt with the `bump' this year, the AFL is now grappling with the chokehold, with Hawthorn defender Brian Lake to face the tribunal on Tuesday night over what appeared to be a choke on North Melbourne skipper Drew Petrie.

SOCCER - Neymar and the Brazilian football confederation have denied reports that the striker could undergo special treatment on his fractured vertebra to try to play in the World Cup final, as FIFA said it would not sanction the Colombia player who injured the tournament poster boy.
