AFL: A Viral Meningitis outbreak at Port Adelaide Football Club has worsened with three SANFL Academy players contracting the disease in the past 48 hours. All have been discharged from hospital. AFL listed players Jarrad Redden and John Butcher were admitted last weekend and will stay way from the club for up to ten days.
CRICKET: West Australian batsman Shaun Marsh says he remains motivated to make the most of his career despite a big injury setback. Marsh will miss up to four months of cricket after undergoing a reconstruction of his left elbow.
