SportAccord's 20-point plan for IOC

Umbrella body SportAccord wants to clear the air with the IOC after recent criticism.

The head of umbrella body SportAccord has issued a 20-point plan for discussions with the International Olympic Committee, including the introduction of prize money for Olympic athletes.

Marius Vizer also seeks a 50 per cent share for all federations in the IOC's new Olympic television channel, and wants all non-Olympic federations to be allowed to demonstrate their sport before or after each games in the host city.

Vizer released his proposals on Thursday as four more sports federations - rugby, table tennis, equestrian and curling - suspended ties with SportAccord in protest over his attacks on the IOC last month.

Vizer has asked for a meeting with Bach to clear the air. Bach says he will discuss the issue with his executive board next month.

SportAccord represents a group of about 100 Olympic and non-Olympic federations.
