Australian Christian Sprenger has won the gold medal in the men's 100m breaststroke final at the world championships in Barcelona.
Sprenger clocked a career-best 58.79 seconds to finish ahead of South Africa's Olympic champion Cameron van der Burgh (58.97) and Brazilian Felipe Lima (59.65) to win his first world title.
