Pakistan have been bowled out for 165 by Sri Lanka in the first innings on the opening day of the second Test in Dubai.

Sri Lanka have bowled out Pakistan for 165 in their first innings on the opening day of the second Test in Dubai on Wednesday.

Nuwan Pradeep finished with a career-best 3-62 while Shaminda Eranga (2-25), Suranga Lakmal (2-45) and spinner Rangana Herath (3-26) shared the spoils.

For Pakistan, sent in on a seaming track, opener Khurram Manzoor topscored with 73.

Skipper Misbah-ul Haq (one) and Younis Khan (13), both centurions in the drawn first Test in Abu Dhabi, failed as Pakistan lost six wickets for 71 runs between lunch and tea.
