Two men have escaped with cash after terrorising staff at a convenience store in Macquarie Fields at knife-point.

The men entered the shop on Evelyn Street on Tuesday night with their faces covered and threatened the male and female employees with a knife and demanded cash.

The staff ran from the store, after which the offenders also fled the area with cash from the till.
