Stage set for biggest Rugby World Cup

More tickets are being made available for the Rugby World Cup, making England 2015 the biggest yet.

England 2015 is on course to be the biggest Rugby World Cup yet following an increase in ticket capacity.

Adjustments to the final venue configurations for the 13 match venues have resulted in a rise from 2.3 million to 2.45 million tickets available for the ninth installment of the tournament.

An additional 100,000 tickets will go on sale from Monday, encompassing all 48 matches, with 15,000 tickets for the three England pool games at Twickenham among those available.

On Wednesday 30,000 tickets for the knockout stages - quarter-finals, semi-finals, bronze final and the final - will go on sale.

Fans who applied for England and knockout matches at Twickenham during the September 2014 ballot, and have yet to secure seats, will be given priority access.

"Excitement around the Tournament continues to grow and as we approach 50 days to go, it really is going to be too big to miss," England 2015 managing director Stephen Brown said on Thursday.
