Star Wildcat Ennis cleared of striking

Adelaide coach Joey Wright is still yet to learn his fate after allegedly pushing Wildcats assistant Adam Tatalovich last week.

Perth Wildcats star James Ennis is free to play against the Melbourne Tigers on Friday night after being cleared of striking.

Ennis had been charged for his part in a post-match altercation involving players and coaching staff following Perth's win over Adelaide last week.

But the attempted striking charge against the dynamic import was dismissed at an NBL judiciary hearing on Tuesday night.

Charges against Adelaide coach Joey Wright, who is accused of pushing Wildcats assistant Adam Tatalovich, will be heard later this week.

The NBL is still yet to determine possible sanctions or penalties for both teams after they were found guilty of a Code of Conduct breach for their part in the melee.

The Wildcats will also be boosted by the return of centre Matt Knight, who has been given the green light to play after finally recovering from concussion.
