Stenmark twins bring special date to show

A young cancer patient has become a role model to brothers Zac and Jordan Stenmark, who took her as their date to the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival.

Any 15-year-old girl would love to have a famous male model as her date to a fashion show, not to mention if there are two of them.

Twin brothers Zac and Jordan Stenmark took Sydney teenager Belle McKinn and three of her friends to Friday night's Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival in Sydney.

Belle is legally blind after being diagnosed with a form of eye cancer.

She met the model twins through their work as ambassadors for online donation site Donate Planet.

The teenager has raised more than $17,000 for the Kids Cancer Centre at the Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick, and the brothers are rallying behind her.

"I think it's very inspiring the fact that she's been through so much and now she's wanting to help so many people. To use her experiences and what she has to try and help kids with cancer and hopefully cure it," Jordan told AAP.

"For a 15-year-old to think that way and be so inspirational and motivating... I think anyone can learn from that," Zac said.

After becoming friends, the Stenmarks discovered the Loreto Kirribilli student was interested in fashion and decided to treat Belle to her first fashion show.

"She's such a role model. And we thought if we could do anything and help out with her fundraiser, we'd love to," Zac said.
