Stephen Fry back to work on 24

British actor Stephen Fry, who was treated in hospital for cellulitis earlier this month, is back at work on the reboof of the action thriller 24.

British actor and comedian Stephen Fry has resumed work on hit TV show 24 after spending nearly a week in hospital.

Fry was admitted to hospital on April 1 suffering from the painful skin infection cellulitis. He was treated with intravenous antibiotics.

Fry, who was discharged on April 7, confirmed on Monday he had been deemed fit enough to resume production on Kiefer Sutherland's action drama 24: Live Another Day, which is filming in London.

The star posted a picture of a chair emblazoned with his name and the 24 logo, adding in a caption, "Shame to be shooting inside on such a glorious day... Jack is back... 24."

Fry plays the British prime minister in the rebooted TV thriller.
