Actor Steve Carell is set to star in Priority List, a film based on the true story of a high school teacher diagnosed with brain cancer and given just months to live.
The Anchorman star will take the lead in the drama based on David Menasche's memoir, titled The Priority List: A Teacher's Final Quest to Discover Life's Greatest Lessons.
In the book, Menasche details his battle with the disease since 2006, to the end of his teaching career in 2012. He then embarks on a cross-country journey to reconnect with his former students from his 15 years as an educator, and ultimately living life to the fullest.
Menasche, who is still alive, published the memoir in January.
