Two women have publicly sought their revenge on an alleged philanderer by setting up a banner on a busy British motorway to name and shame him.

Peak hour motorists winding their way along the UK's A1, north of Birtley in Gateshead, were greeted by the sight of a large sign hanging from an overpass bridge emblazoned with the words "Steve Frazer You're Dumped By Both Of Your Girlfriends".

The Newcastle Chronicle reports that the pair decided to take matters into their own hands after meeting, creating a red and yellow banner featuring a 'selfie' of the pair and a picture of the alleged two-timer.
The enormous sign has since been taken down, but not before it was seen by thousands of drivers and went viral on the internet.
