The woman was at a mass brawl outside Darling Harbour's Sydney Aquarium on Saturday night.

As police tried to break up the fight, a male sergeant was battered around the head with a the high heel shoe, causing a deep cut.

A 26-year-old woman was arrested at the scene and charged with assaulting the officer. She is due to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on July 7.
