Stocks of interest on the ASX this week

MYR - MYER - down nine cents, or 10.8 per cent, at 74.5 cents

The department store chain lowered its full-year profit outlook on Thursday and flagged a $46 million hit from the collapse of Topshop and continuing pain from fashion label sass & bide.

BAL - BELLAMY - down 44 cents, or 6.5 per cent, at $6.30

Infant formula maker Bellamy's resumed trading this week after it went into an almost two-week trading halt following the surprise suspension of its key Chinese regulatory licence for its newly acquired canning facility. It last traded at $6.74 before the trading halt.

ANZ - ANZ - up $1.25, or 4.3 per cent, at $30.11.

CBA - COMMONWEALTH BANK - up 85 cents, or one per cent, at $83.97

WBC - WESTPAC - up $1.02, or 3.3 per cent, at $32.42

NAB - NATIONAL AUSTRALIA BANK - up 31 cents, or one per cent, at $30.46

MQG - MACQUARIE BANK - down $2.5 or 2.8 per cent, at $85.50

The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority has given the country's biggest lenders to January 2020 to increase their minimum capital buffers by the equivalent of 150 basis points. The new requirements were not as tough as the market had expected.

WPL - WOODSIDE PETROLEUM - down 58 cents, or 1.9 per cent, at $29.46

Oil and gas giant Woodside Petroleum's production dropped 6.6 per cent in the second quarter of 2017 due to outages at some of its facilities and a lower share of pipeline gas from the North West Shelf. Oil prices have also been volatile having fallen by around 0.75 per cent on Thursday night.
