Shares in Beach Energy have jumped after the oil and gas producer more than tripled half year net profit and lifted guidance.
BLS - BLUESCOPE STEEL - up 42 cents, or 7.16 per cent, at $6.29
Steelmaker BlueScope Steel has returned to profitability thanks to improved performances from its North American, Asian and Australian businesses.
BLY - BOART LONGYEAR - down 4.50 cents, or 10.59 per cent, at 38 cents
Shares in Boart Longyear have fallen more than eight per cent after the drilling company slumped to a full year net loss of $US620 million.
CTX - CALTEX AUSTRALIA - up 37 cents, or 1.81 per cent, at $20.86
Caltex Australia has suffered a 28 per cent slide in its full year profit, partly due to the impacts of the fall in the Australian dollar.
MND - MONADELPHOUS - up $1.04, or 6.27 per cent, at $17.62
Engineering group Monadelphous' shares are up after it clinched a major construction contract for an LNG project in Darwin.
NHF - NIB HOLDINGS - up 2.00 cents, or 0.77 per cent, at $2.60
Health insurer NIB has grown its half year net profit by nine per cent.
PFL - PATTIES FOODS - up 6.00 cents, or 4.84 per cent, at $1.30
Frozen food supplier Patties Foods expects its underlying profit in the second half of the 2013/14 financial year to at least match that of the prior year.

Asset management firm Transfield Services has won a $1.2 billion contract to provide garrison and welfare services over a 20-month period at Australia's offshore refugee processing centres on Nauru, and Manus Island in Papua New Guinea.
