Stocks to watch on the Australian stock exchange at noon on Thursday:

ABC - ADELAIDE AND BRIGHTON - up 8.00 cents, or 1.97 per cent, at $4.15

Construction materials and lime producer Adelaide Brighton has produced record yearly revenue due to its capital expenditure program.

AMP - AMP - up 35 cents, or 7.78 per cent, at $4.85

Australia's largest life insurer, AMP, has suffered a fall in full year profit on the back of higher claims and the loss of customers.

FXJ - FAIRFAX MEDIA - up 15 cents, or 20.98 per cent, at 86.5 cents

Fairfax Media has lifted its first half underlying profit thanks to a 52 per cent jump in earnings from its core metropolitan media business.

IIN - IINET - up 41 cents, or 5.47 per cent, at $7.91

Internet service provider iiNet's half year net profit has fallen nine per cent.

LEI - LEIGHTON HOLDINGS - up $1.00, or 6.09 per cent, at $17.41

Construction and engineering group Leighton Holdings has lifted full year net profit by 13 per cent to $509 million.

MYR - MYER - up 11 cents, or 4.47 per cent, at $2.57

DJS - DAVID JONES - up 5.5 cents, or 6.00 per cent, at $3.255

Myer has again called on David Jones to consider a merger between the two rival department stores.

ORG - ORIGIN ENERGY - down 25.5 cents, or 1.72 per cent, at $14.595

Origin Energy's half year profit has dropped 39 per cent due to higher LNG funding expenses and impairments.

PPX - PAPERLINX - up 0.1 cents, or 2.5 per cent, at 4.1 cents

Paper merchent PaperlinX has notched up a loss for the six months to December 31, but the figure is a marked improvement on the loss it made in the same period in 2012.

SUL - SUPER RETAIL GROUP - up 36 cents, or 3.32 per cent, at $11.21

The owner of Rebel Sports and Supercheap Auto has blamed anaemic earnings from its outdoor business and heavy investment in new stores for its small rise in half year profit.

TWE - TREASURY WINE ESTATES - up 8.00 cents, or 2.16 per cent, at $3.78

Winemaker Treasury Wine Estates has appointed Michael Clarke as its new chief executive.
