Stocks to watch on the Australian stock exchange at noon on Wednesday:

AGK - AGL ENERGY - down 22 cents, or 1.38 per cent, at $15.76

Electricity retailer AGL Energy's net profit for the first half of the fiscal year has fallen 27.1 per cent to $261 million.

LLC - LEND LEASE - down 46 cents, or 3.97 per cent, at $11.11

Construction giant Lend Lease has suffered a 16 per cent slide in its first half profit following weaker performances from its Australian and European operations.

FLT - FLIGHT CENTRES - down 74 cents, or 1.49 per cent, at $49.06

Flight Centre has lifted its first half profit more than 20.7 per cent thanks to strong sales growth in both corporate and leisure travel.

OZL - OZ MINERALS - up 3.5 cents, or 0.93 per cent, at $3.815

A multi-million-dollar class action has been launched against Australian-based mining company Oz Minerals for allegedly misleading shareholders.

REX - REGIONAL EXPRESS GROUP - steady at 79 cents

Regional airline operator Regional Express Group (Rex) says the regional aviation sector needs government help to save it from collapse.

WDC - WESTFIELD GROUP - down 22.5 cents, or 2.11 per cent, at $10.455

WRT - WESTFIELD RETAIL TRUST - down 2.00 cents, or 0.63 per cent, at $3.13

Shopping centre giant Westfield Group has suffered a 6.7 per cent slide in its full year profit.

WHC - WHITEHAVEN COAL - up 6.00 cents, or 3.51 per cent, at $1.77

A tough market for coal miners has led to Whitehaven Coal reporting an $11.6 million loss for the first half of fiscal 2014.

WTF - WOTIF.COM - up 5.00 cents, or 1.81 per cent, at $2.81

Online travel group Wotif.com has posted an 18 per cent slide in its half year profit.
