Melbourne halves Cameron Munster and Brodie Croft are certain starters for the NRL grand final against the Sydney Roosters despite missing training with the main group.
Storm assistant coach Jason Ryles said the club took advantage of the extended break between their preliminary final win over Cronulla and Sunday's decider at ANZ Stadium to freshen up the duo.
"They both trained inside as they've got a bit of general soreness but they will be fine for the weekend and they will join back into the main training tomorrow," Ryles said on Tuesday.
"They've had some bumps for the last couple of weeks so with the nine-day turnaround it's a good opportunity to have a little bit of extra recovery.
"They did some work in the gym and did some extra rehab."
The Storm's main injury concern, prop Tim Glasby, won't do any contact training until later this week after suffering rib cartilage damage in the victory over the Sharks.
The Queensland Origin forward played 12 minutes before being forced off with the injury, however, came on for the last few minutes when the game was won.
"Tim will do a bit of contact later in the week and we will limit his contact before then but come Sunday he will be good to go," Ryles said.
