Melbourne Storm will use the pain of their narrow grand final to loss Cronulla to drive their bid for another NRL premiership.

Halfback Cooper Cronk says there's positives to be taken from their season, including winning the minor premiership.

But he says the sting of the two-point defeat will sit with them until this time next season when they hopefully get another opportunity.
