Insurer Suncorp has taken a $135 million hit from the storms that last week swept through NSW.
The cost to Suncorp, whose brands include AAMI, GIO and Apia, is separate from the bill of between $50 million and $70 million from the Anzac Day hail storm that hit Sydney and surrounding areas.
Suncorp is responding to 25,000 claims from the two weather events.
Claims are widespread ranging from Sydney, to the Hunter and Central Coast regions.
Most of the damage relates to fallen trees, roofs and gutters and flooding.
Suncorp's natural hazard expenses for the financial year to April 30, 2015 are in the range of $940 million to $990 million.
This includes current estimates for the two NSW events and an estimate for Cyclone Marcia which hit central Queensland early last month.
On Wednesday, fellow insurer Insurance Australia Group said it had been left with a $300 million bill from the NSW storms.
