Australia's Samantha Stosur has booked her place in the semi-finals of the Mallorca Open with a straight-sets victory over American qualifier Alison Riske.
Riske, who stunned second-seeded Angelique Kerber in the first round, was unable to prevent former US Open champion Stosur continuing her good form at the Spanish grasscourt tournament with a 6-4 6-2 victory.
Australian qualifier Ajla Tomljanovic was unable to join her compatriot in the last four, however, as she lost 3-6 6-3 6-1 to defending champion Anastasija Sevastova.
Stosur will play Sevastova in the semi-finals.
American teenager Sofia Kenin claimed her first victory over a top-10 player by beating top seed Caroline Garcia 6-3 6-3 to reach the semi-finals.
In the last four, Kenin will face German Tatjana Maria, who has hit form spectacularly and kept her run going with a 7-6 (7-3) 4-6 6-4 victory over seventh seed Lucie Safarova.
