A strong 6.6-magnitude earthquake has jolted central Chile, US geologists say, though there are no immediate reports of fatalities or serious damage.
The quake struck at 6:32pm on Saturday (0832 Sunday AEST) about 108km northwest of the capital Santiago, at a depth of 32km. The national emergency office ONEMI said the temblor shook Santiago and five other regions in the South American nation.
