A US school has taken action against young students who racially abused a young Sikh boy on his school bus.

The 12-year-old calmly recorded the confrontation on his mobile phone.

The video shows one girl looking at the camera, saying “terrorist” several times as she pointed at the boy.

She then threatens to take him to court.

Another voice can be heard telling the students to “stop being mean”.

A shared copy of the video, posted on YouTube on February 28, has already attracted more than 800,000 views.

Parents at the Atlanta school were horrified when they saw the video.

The school hasn't revealed what punishments it has decided upon.
